Despite COVID, floods, and some other challenges, HVPC members seized every opportunity to get out on the water during 2021-22. Our recreational paddles continued to be well attended, and our New to Touring Kayaking day attracted some new members. Competition in the Summer, Winter & Twilight Series handicap events has been high spirited, and several members transitioned to compete in their first  PNSW Marathon Series events in 2022.
