Hunter Valley Paddlesports Club's AGM will be held at 11am at the Teralba Bowling Club on Sun 16 Jul, after race #4 of the HVPC Winter Series.  

The sustainability of any club is dependent on the active participation of its members. In addition to taking part in club activities, a club also needs its members to 'pitch in' and assist with operational aspects of the club. Too often, the planning, organisation and running of club activities is left to the same members, year after year. As a result, these members often become burnt out and step away from volunteering. 

This is the situation currently being faced by Hunter Valley Paddlesports Club. To continue building on the long and successful history of the Club, HVPC needs you to step up and help out in ways that you can. Your contribution may be small or extensive - any contribution will be helpful. The Club especially needs new committee members as some of our current committee members are stepping down or scaling back their commitment.

All members are invited to nominate for a position on the HVPC Committee.  It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned paddler and long term member, or a new member who is still learning to paddle. If you can work harmoniously as part of a team, you are welcome to get involved as a Committee member. If you would like to discuss the role and responsibilities of being on the HVPC Committee, please reply to this email and we will call you. Alternatively, you may speak with any of the current committee members.

To nominate for a position on the HVPC Committee, you may complete a Nomination Form and return by email to huntervalleypaddlesportsclub@gmail.com before Sun 9 Jul. Alternatively, simply attend the AGM and nominate yourself from the floor (written nominations will take precedence over nominations on the day).
